"Extremely Poor Construction"
We hired Entrekin to do a porch addition on our house about 5 years ago. The porch is falling apart. The support beams for the roof have completely warped and twisted as they were not actually secured. The porch steps were held together with nails which have come out, many we've had to replace with screws. My husband had to redo the lattice work under the house as it was pieced together from scraps. We just noticed today that the beam coming off the house is becoming separated from the front beam since they never bothered to use brackets to hold it together. The roof shingle color selected was completely wrong for the rest of the house. We were told that as the shingles aged they would look like the rest of the roof - five years later they are still wrong. Finally, when the shingles were put on, no felt paper was put over the plywood. At the time we were told some cock and bull story about how the plywood had a membrane on it that was waterproof. After conferring with several roofing companies, we determined that this was a lie. Add that to the 4 week delay and $12,000 price tag (he did pour a new driveway), we truly regret the day we hired this company and wish we had our money back.
