"Aarvark Roofing --stay away!"
Aardvard Roofing did our house 11 years ago with a 40 year architectural shingle and a ten year warranty on the installation. The roof has been leaking in the same spot since the install along with delamination of some of the plywood. Grant came over three times in the beginning to try and fix the issue. Silicon was used in those three efforts and it was ineffective. I've called Grant 3-4 times per year and finally got a phone call back in August of 2009. He came over and applied more silicon and said he would send someone over on Thursday of that week to repair the roof where the delamination happened. No one showed up and may phone calls have not been answered since. I've since found learned from a well respected builder that the original flashing around all of the windows was not replaced. The original flashing is from the discarded aluminum printing plates from The Newtown Bee. The flashing should have been replaced and professionally installed. STAY AWAY--Over $12,000 and a roof that leaks!
